Red Wings 3 Devils 1
Jonas Gustavsson only had to make 10 saves and Johan Franzen scored the winning goal in the Red Wings’ 3-1 win over New Jersey Friday night. Joakim Andersson and Tomas Tatar also scored for the Wings.
Cory Schneider made 18 saves and Andy Greene scored the lone goal for New Jersey in a 3-1 loss to Detroit.
Hurricanes 5 Sharks 3
Cam Ward made 22 saves and Elias Lindholm scored a goal and two assist in the Hurricanes 5-3 win over the Sharks. Jay Harrison, Riley Nash, Jordan Staal and Eric Staal all scored for the Canes.
Alex Stalock stopped 30 shots and Tommy Wingels scored his ninth of the season in the Sharks 5-3 loss to the Canes. Marc-Edouard Vlasic and Justin Braun also scored for the Sharks.
Blue Jackets 4 Wild 0
Curtis McElhinney stopped all 20 Wild shots and Nick Foligno scored a goal and an assist in Columbus’ 4-0 win over Minnesota. Cam Atkinson, Boone Jenner and RJ Umberger all scored for the Blue Jackets.
Niklas Backstrom made 37 saves and Zach Parise led the Wild with five shots on goal in Wild 4-0 loss to the Blue Jackets.
Ducks 3 Blackhawks 2 S/O
Jonas Hiller made 23 saves and Ryan Getzlaf scored a goal and a assist in the Ducks 3-2 shootout win over the Blackhawks. Corey Perry also scored for the Ducks.
Antti Raanta made 24 saves and Kris Versteeg scored a goal and an assist in the Blackhawks shootout loss to the Ducks.
Avalanche 3 Flames 2
Jean-Sebastien Giguere stopped 26 shots and Maxime Talbot scored a goal and registered an assist in Colorado's 3-2 win over Calgary. Nathan MacKinnon and P.A. Parenteau also scored for the Avalanche.
Karri Ramo allowed three goals on 25 shots and Matt Stajan scored a goal for the Flames in their 3-2 loss to the Avalanche. Kris Russell scored the Flames other goal.
Canucks 3 Coyotes 2
Roberto Luongo made 37 saves and Henrik Sedin scored his eighth of the year in the Canucks 3-2 win over the Coyotes. Jason Garrison and Chris Higgins also scored for the Canucks.
Mike Smith stopped 39 shots and Antoine Vermette scored a goal in Phoenix's 3-2 overtime loss to Vancouver Friday night. David Moss also scored for the Coyotes.
