Flyers 5 Capitals 4 OT

Steve Mason made 25 saves and Claude Giroux scored two goals and an assist in the Flyers 5-4 overtime win against the Capitals. Jakub Voracek scored a goal and two assist while Adam Hall and Vincent Lecavalier scored goals in the win.

Braden Holtby made 31 saves and Dmitry Orlov scored twice in the Capitals 5-4 overtime loss to the Flyers. Marcus Johansson and Jay Beagle also scored in the loss.

 

Panthers 5 Islanders 3

Tim Thomas made 35 saves while Scottie Upshall and Shawn Matthias scored twice and added a assist in the Panthers 5-3 win over the Islanders. Marcel Goc also scored in the win.

Anders Nilsson made 29 saves and Thomas Vanek scored twice and added an a assist in the Islanders 5-3 loss to the Panthers. Ryan Strome also scored in the loss.

 

Sharks 4 Devils 2

Alex Stalock made 21 saves and Patrick Marleau scored a goal and an assist as the Sharks beat the New Devils 4-2. Logan Couture, Raffi Torres and Matt Nieto all scored for the Sharks while Joe Pavelski added two assists.

Cory Schneider made 18 saves while Adam Henrique scored a goal and a assist and Patrik Elias scored in the Devils 4-2 loss to the Sharks.

 

Senators 4 Canucks 2

Craig Anderson made 29 saves and Clarke MacArthur scored a goal and a assist in the Senators 4-2 win over the Canucks at the 2014 Tim Hortons NHL Heritage Classic at BC Place. Erik Karlsson, Cody Ceci and Colin Greening all scored for the Sens in the win.

Eddie Lack made 24 saves while Jason Garrison and Zack Kassian scored goals in the Canucks 4-2 loss to the Senators at the Tim Hortons NHL Heritage Classic at BC Place.

 

Bruins 6 Rangers 3

Tuukka Rask made 39 saves and Dougie Hamilton scored a goal and added two assists as the Bruins defeated the Rangers 5-3. Jarome Iginla and Milan Lucic scored a goal and a assist while Carl Soderberg and Gregory Campbell each scored a goal.

Henrik Lundqvist made 27 saves while J.T. Miller, Brad Richards and Ryan McDonagh each scored goals and Derek Stepan added two assist in the Rangers 6-3 loss to the Bruins.

 

Avalanche 6 Lightning 3

Semyon Varlamov made 31 saves while Nick Holden scored two goals, Ryan O'Reilly had a goal and an assist and Paul Stastny, Erik Johnson and Tyson Barrie also scored for the Avalanche in their 6-3 win over the Lightning.

Ben Bishop made 29 saves and Nate Thompson scored twice in the Lightning's 6-3 loss to the Avalanche. Tom Pyatt scored the Lightning's other goal.

 

Blues 4 Coyotes 2

Ryan Miller made 23 saves in his Blues debut and Patrik Berglund scored twice in the Blues 4-2 win over the Coyotes. Also scoring goals for the Blues were Magnus Paajarvi and Kevin Shattenkirk in their win.

Mike Smith made 26 saves while Paul Bissonnette and Jeff Halpern scored in the Coyotes 4-2 loss to the Blues.

 

Ducks 5 Hurricanes 3

Frederik Andersen made 49 saves and Corey Perry scored twice and added an assist in the Ducks 5-3 win over the Hurricanes. Francois Beauchemin, Andrew Cogliano and Jakob Silfverberg all scored for the Ducks in the win.

Cam Ward stopped 29 shots while Alexander Semin, Andrej Sekera and Patrick Dwyer scored in the Hurricanes 5-3 loss to the Ducks.
