Curtis McElhinney, making his first start of the season for the Blue Jackets, made 37 saves and Ryan Johansen had a goal and an assist to help the Blue Jackets defeat the Vancouver Canucks 3-1.
Vancouver goalie Eddie Lack gave up only two goals on 28 shots before an empty-netter and Henrik Sedin scored the Canucks' goal in the loss. 

Predators 3 Jets 1

Backup goalie Carter Hutton made 37 saves and Eric Nystrom, Matt Cullen and Patric Hornqvist all scored in the Predators 3-1 win over the Jets.
Ondrej Pavelec made 22 saves and Evander Kane produced his fifth goal of the season Sunday night during the Jets' 3-1 loss.

Ducks 6 Stars 3

Frederik Andersen replaced Jonas Hiller in the Anaheim net Sunday night after Hiller allowed three goals on nine Dallas shots, Andersen stopped all 24 shots he faced. Ryan Getzlaf scored a goal and collected three assists and Corey Perry scored twice and added an assist in an 6-3 win over the Stars. Teemu Selanne, Emerson Etem, Mathieu Perrault also scored for the Ducks.
Backup goalie Jack Campbell allowed six goals on 47 shots and Shawn Horcoff scored a goal and a assist in the Stars loss. Ryan Garbutt and Brenden Dillon also scored for the Stars.
