Jets 3 Islanders 2

Al Montoya allowed just two goals on 30 shots and Andrew Ladd scored his seventh goal of the season as the Jets beat the Islanders 3-2. Mark Stuart and Devin Setoguchi also scored for the Jets.

Kevin Poulin made 26 saves and John Tavares scored his eleventh of the year in the Isles 3-2 loss to the Jets. Andrew MacDonald scored the Islanders other goal.

 

Predators 4 Blue Jackets 0

Marek Mazanec stopped all 19 shots he faced and Matt Cullen scored a goal and a assist in the Preds 4-0 win over the Blue Jackets. Nick Spaling, Mike Fisher and David Legwand all scored for the Predators.

Sergei Bobrovsky gave up four goals on 29 shots and Ryan Johansen was tied with a team high in shots with three, in the Blue Jackets 4-0 loss to the Predators. 

 

Senators 6 Capitals 4

Craig Anderson made 29 saves and Bobby Ryan scored two goals for Ottawa in a 6-4 win over the Capitals. Colin Greening, Mika Zibanejad, Zack Smith and Chris Phillips also scored for the Sens. 

Braden Holtby gave up five goals on 40 shots and John Carlson scored his sixth of the year in the Caps 6-4 loss to the Sens. Brooks Laich, Marcus Johansson and Eric Fehr all scored goals for the Caps. 

 

Hurricanes 4 Devils 3

Cam Ward allowed three goals on 22 shots and Tuomo Ruutu scored his third of the year in the Canes 4-3 win over the Devils. Justin Faulk, Patrick Dwyer and Ron Hainsey all scored for the Canes.

Martin Brodeur allowed four goals on 22 shots and Jaromir Jagr scored his tenth goal of the year in the Devils 4-3 loss to the Canes. Travis Zajac and Andy Greene also scored for the Devils.

 

Canadiens 3 Sabers 1

Carey Price made 24 saves and Andrei Markov had three assist in the Canadiens 3-1 win over the Sabres. Alex Galchenyuk, Brenden Gallagher and David Desharnais all scored goals for the Habs.

Ryan Miller allowed three goals on 31 shots and Matt Moulson scored his ninth goal of the season in Buffalo's 3-1 loss to Montreal.

 

Red Wings 6 Bruins 1

Jonas Gustavsson allowed just one goal on 17 shots and Henrik Zetterberg scored a goal and added an assist for the Red Wings in a 6-1 win over Boston. Tomas Tatar, Niklas Kronwall and Gustav Nyquist had a goal and an assist each. Justin Abdelkader and Drew MIller also scored for the Wings.

Tuukka Rask gave up six goals on 28 shots and Jarome Iginla scored the only Boston goal in a 6-1 loss to the Red Wings.

 

Rangers 5 Panthers 2

Henrik Lundqvist made 31 saves and Mats Zuccarello scored a goal and an assist for the Rangers in Wednesday's 5-2 win over the Panthers.  Rick Nash, Derick Brassard, Carl Hagelin and Brad Richards all scored goals in the Rangers win.

Tim Thomas allowed four goals on 21 shots and Nick Bjugstad scored a goal for the Panthers in Wednesday's 5-2 loss to the New York Rangers. Scottie Upshall also scored for the Panthers.

 

Penguins 6 Leafs 5 S/O

Jonathan Bernier gave up five goals on 48 shots and James van Riemsdyk scored a pair of goals and added an assist for the Maple Leafs in a 6-5 shootout loss to Pittsburgh. Phil Kessel, Nazem Kadri and Tyler Bozak also scored goal for the Leafs. 

Marc-Andre Fleury was pulled after allowing three goals on just 11 shots. Jeff Zatkoff came in and gave up two goals on 13 shots and Evgeni Malkin scored a pair of goals and added an assist for the Penguins in Wednesday's 6-5 shootout win over Toronto. Kris Letang scored a goal and two assists, James Neal scored a goal and an assist and Chris Conner added his first of the year.

 

Lightning 4 Flyers 2

Anders Lindback made 19 saves and Victor Hedman picked up his fifth and sixth goals of the season in Tampa Bay's 4-2 win over the Flyers. Ondrej Palat and Tyler Johnson also scored goals.

Ray Emery gave up three goals on 34 shots and Mark Streit scored a goal and added an assist for Philadelphia in a 4-2 loss to the Lightning. Vincent Lecavalier scored the other Flyers goal.

 

Coyotes 3 Wild 1

Thomas Greiss allowed just one goal on 29 shots and Radim Vrbata scored two goals in the Coyotes 3-1 win over the Wild. Mikkel Boedker also scored in the win. 

Niklas Backstrom made 23 saves and Dany Heatley scored the only Wild goal in their 3-1 loss to the Coyotes.

 

Blues 4 Avalanche 1

Jaroslav Halak stopped 25 of 26 shots and David Backes scored a goal and an assist in St Louis' 4-1 win over Colorado. Alexander Steen, Chris Stewart and Jaden Schwartz also scored for the Blues.

Semyon Varlamov gave up four goals on 34 shots and Patrick Bordeleau scored a goal in Colorado's 4-1 loss to St. Louis. 

 

Blackhawks 3 Flames 2

Antti Raanta turned aside 20 of 22 shots and Patrick Kane scored twice in the Blackhawks 3-2 win over the Flames. Patrick Sharp also scored for the Blackhawks and Niklas Hjalmarsson had two assists.

Reto Berra allowed three goals on 30 shots, Sean Monahan and Matt Stajan scored for the Flames and Jiri Hudler assisted on both goals in the Flames 3-2 loss.

 

Sharks 3 Kings 2 S/O

Antti Niemi stopped 38 of 40 shots and Joe Thornton scored a goal in the Sharks 3-2 shootout win over the Kings. Joe Pavelski also scored for the Sharks.

Ben Scrivens made 38 saves and Jeff Carter scored a goal in Los Angeles's 3-2 shootout loss to San Jose. Drew Doughty also scored for the Kings.
